You Startled Me

 A rather cool-headed guy, Geal wanders the known inhabited planets with some other like-minded individuals taking contract work . His hobby is trying to figure out what the frick he is for his own existential satisfaction. So far he hasn't had much luck.

This painting pretty much exists to give a full-body look at Geal, an angelic-like creature composed of ectoplasm and machinery.  
His top half is a living liquid, hardened to form arms, head and torso. His bottom half is built from black metal, a pair of synthetic legs he controls from within. This part of his body keeps him anchored to the floor, otherwise he would float away. By engaging magnetism in his feet, he is so light he can walk vertically on all metal surfaces without falling over.
