I was drawn to this because of its vast content of color and mixes of lines build up the creatures detail and focus point like its wings and tail carry fantastic structure, I also agree with your lighting composition its brought lighter colors forward and kept them in place with the background.

After taking a look at the background the detail that strikes me the most is the 3 flowers at the bottom right they pull out this effective 3D vision which makes me question what it would look like if the trees above reaches out and stood out a little more.

I am so intrigued by the life behind your trees and vivid leaves we get to see this pale blue sky and I start to wonder if this creature as ventured past the forest and I now want to see more of its race and how this dance takes place, you captured your imagination into this image and now we are intrigued too.
